We have two glamping options: the Bell Tent and the Cute Caravan. Both are situated in our secluded woodland area that overlooks the old church glebe lands. Enjoy the comfort of two very special luxury camping options. Enjoy sitting outside in the evening with a campfire keeping you warm and fairy lights twinkling under the stars before heading inside to a lovely snuggly bed before getting up refreshed and ready for a very special breakfast.
Both come with everything you need to make a special breakfast including: free-range eggs, bacon, sausages and jam from the smallholding, and tea/coffee. If you are vegetarian or don’t eat pork, let us know and we will suggest something tasty as a replacement.
Both also come with electric hook-up so you can re-charge your phone (if you really want), and boil a kettle for early morning coffee or tea. They also both have a fridge for keeping your milk and beer cold! We are currently replanting our woodland area with native flowers and bushes – it will take a while for them to grow, but it will be worth it.
The Bell Tent: this is a large 6m diameter luxurious bell tent situated on a massive hand-made deck. Inside there is a proper king-size bed with a lovely fluffy duvet and soft cotton sheets. There is also a double sofa-bed and the option of another single bed – please let us know if you require these and we will provide extra bedding. As the tent is so large there is also space for a small table and chairs (these can also be taken outside onto the deck if you prefer) and a sitting space. Outside there is a clever little BBQ on which you can boil water for pasta, grill meat or fish and there is a hot plate for frying eggs or cooking vegetables. All plates, cooking implements including saucepans, cutlery, washing up supplies are provided as well as some games. There is also a picnic table, fire-pit (with one bucket of wood) and a shade sail to keep the sun or the rain off you when outside.
The Cute Caravan (Edith): This is a little, old caravan lovingly restored by our friends Pete and Alfie. Alfie has made all of the furnishings for the caravan including hand-made curtains, cushions and crocheted bunting. Edith has a table and benches that turns into a double bed and an additional bench seat that can be used as a small single bed. She comes complete with games, bedding and all cooking utensils. She also has a a clever little BBQ on which you can boil water for pasta, grill meat or fish and there is a hot plate for frying eggs or cooking vegetables. She also includes a picnic table, fire-pit (and a bucket of wood) and a shade sail on the deck to keep the sun or the rain off you when outside.
